Syria War - Heavy Fighting Continues In Eastern Ghouta Syria. Heavy clashing and fighting continues at the end of the Syrian Civil War 2013. After the rebels launched a new offensive under the banner of the Islamic Front, a radical group like the al-Nusra Front, the Syrian army also begun to start a counteroffensive against rebel forces and the Syrian air force started to conduct several airstrikes on rebel held positions in the area. The Ghouta region is part of the capital Damascus eastern countryside wich makes it important for goverment forces to retake full control over the area to prevent more clashes and fightings in the capital itself. The rebel offensive was one of the last bigger offensives in syrias civil war in 2013.
