Syrian Civil War 2014 - Syrian Rebels In Heavy Urban Fighting During Ongoing Clashes In Sheikh Miskin. Despite all claims made by the Syrian opposition to be under full control of the town, heavy clashes fighting and firefights still going on in Sheikh Miskin southern Syria.
Even if it seems the rebels still have the upper hand at this time, they are facing heavy resistance from government troops left in the city and constant regime counterattacks that are part of an ongoing counteroffensive held out by the Syrian army to recapture the lost area.

The control of the Daraa area could link opposition fighters positions in Daraa and Qunaitra with Damascus rebel-held Ghouta suburbs also the Daraa region with its border to the opossition firendly country Jordan is an important area from the strategic point of view wich holds tactical value for booth parties in this conflict.
The video shows that rebels have made some sucess in overtaking regime strongholds in the area with even capturing some government eqiments like ammunition and tanks but it is very likely the battle for Sheikh Miskin fighting will still continue in 2015.
